Bright Cycling Review

Editorial policy

Bright Cycling Review aims to make cycling choices clear, proportionate and useful. We distinguish general explanation from matters that call for technical expertise or local guidance.

Accuracy and clarity

We check that explanations are internally consistent, use terms carefully and make the limits of general advice visible. We do not claim that a suggestion suits every bicycle, rider or place. Content is written to help readers compare ordinary options, not to assess a particular bicycle or diagnose a problem.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance, not as a condition of a commercial relationship. Any paid, gifted or otherwise commercially connected material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Partner placements are identified where they appear.

Corrections

If a reader spots a factual error or unclear passage, they can contact us with the page and the point in question. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making significant corrections clear to readers.

Illustrations

Some illustrations may be generated with AI. Illustrations are not evidence of a real bicycle, place, product test or event, and are labelled where appropriate.
